The Russian Tampax Ad

While, we're probably all agreed that tampons are pretty useful, the adverts for these products tend to err on the sappy or just a little bit annoying (like this one).

However, Tampax in Russia has taken a decidedly different spin on the genre with their new commercial.

The scene opens to two beautiful, swimsuit-clad women getting ready to take a swim in the sea out in front of them.

Both of them begin a graceful front crawl when all of a sudden - well, we won't spoil it for you. Here's a hint though: they won't be cheerfully water ski-ing or strapping on rollerblades to zoom down the promenade.

Let's just say that we're a little scared to go out into open water ever again. Watch the video below.
