Top of the tweets

Twitter-Hero.jpg

Whilst we love spending fifteen minutes catching up with friends on Facebook, Twitter is the social network Stylist looks to for breaking news and topical debate and, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the micro-blogging site last week, we compiled a list of our favourite female tweeters.

But even we couldn’t have predicted the outcry from the twitter-verse at who we’d missed off our list. One particular highlight was Lauren Laverne promising to scribble a biro portrait of her favourite tweeter to get her included (we’re still waiting on that sketch)!

So now we want your imput - tell us your favourite women to follow on twitter, and we’ll add our ten favourite recommendations to the list. They can be anyone from a famous celebrity to your best friend – just tweet us on @StylistMagazine with your recommendation, why you love following them and - importantly - the hashtag #ladieswhotweet.

But hurry, you only have until Sunday 3rd April to make your suggestions for our shortlist.

See our list of top ten 'ladies who tweet' here. Follow Stylist on Facebook here and on Twitter here.
