The force that is Victoria Beckham has celebrated her 40th birthday over almost a fortnight of events with family and friends, from visiting the Grand Canyon in Arizona to an intimate party in London. What's more exiting is that she's been logging these intimate festivities since her birthday on 17 April, in a series of charming tweets. Take a look at her birthday album below....

The designer let her hair down at the Arts Club in London this weekend and was pictured blowing out her candles and dancing with fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton. She also posed for pictures with her parents Jackie and Tony Adams, her brother Christian and sister Louise Flood, writing, "I love you all so much".

The star took off for a hiking trip on the Grand Canyon with husband David, her children and friends Gordon Ramsey and his wife Tana Ramsay.

She then returned to Los Angeles and posted a picture of herself soaking in the sunshine.

And a milestone birthday wouldn't be the same without a spot of nostalgia. VB posted childhood photos with her mother Jackie Adams and father Tony Adams.

She kicked off her birthday celebrations with a clip from Alice in Wonderland for her followers on Instagram.

Good morning LA, it's my birthday!!!! x vb
