Fans of the Twilight Saga descended on the San Diego Convention centre for the 2011 Comic-Con International yesterday (21 July). Dedicated to all things sci-fi, fantasy and comic-books, the annual conference always attracts the more die-hard breed of fan, with weird and wonderful costumes and elaborate stands (including a giant Smurf) on show.
Not to be outdone, the Twi-hard fans were out in full force, camping out three days in advance for a chance to join 6,500 others at the panel discussion on the latest film, Breaking Dawn. Armed with sleeping bags, teen magazines and even a pillow emblazoned with Robert Pattinson's face, they waited with baited breath for even a glimpse of the cast.
Luckily, some stars of the film took pity on the fans, and came to talk to them in person before attending the conference, although Robert Pattinson (wearing an unusual half-shaved hairstyle) was only present in the press conference.
Even if you aren't obssesed with the Vampire saga, you'll enjoy the madness of the Twilight extravaganza at Comic-Con captured in the video above, plus a sneak preview of the new film.
