It is now almost 11 years since Margaret Thatcher resigned as one of Britain’s most controversial Prime Ministers, leaving a strongly mixed legacy in her wake.
Opinions differ wildly on whether or not Thatcher was a worthy icon for women, with some critics claiming that she was the ultimate feminist icon for rising to the pinnacle of power, while others vehemently insisting that she only made things worse for women.
