Watch the cast of Saved By The Bell reunite in eight minute sketch

Saved by the bell.jpg

For anyone who grew up in the Nineties, Saved By The Bell was an integral part of your television viewing schedule. Personally, we were left bereft when there was no more Zack Morris and co on our screens (and no, The College Years really wasn't the same thing).

Happily, the cast were reunited in a one-off special last night on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show, as part of the chat show host's week-long stint in LA.

In the short eight-minute sketch five of the original cast made an appearance; Zack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley) and Mr Belding (Dennis Haskins) get back together at Bayside High for one episode only, with Jimmy playing their new friend, er, Jimmy.

All of the cast remain true to their former characters, with Zack and Kelly still in a relationship, and Slater and Jessie dating too. And if you're wondering if Zack still has that huge brick of a mobile phone, then spoiler alert, that also features. But there are plenty of other surprises in store.

This isn't the first time the cast have reunited. In 2009, Jimmy Fallon began a petition to get the whole cast back together. However, only Mark-Paul appeared on the show as Zack in a spoof interview.

Then, in August of 2009, the cast did get back together in a feature in People magazine and were joined by Lark Voorhies who played Lisa Turtle who was sadly missing this time . However, Dustin Diamond who played Screech in the TV show was absent due to his poor relations with the rest of the cast.. Following an arrest late last year for stabbing a man, for which he is currently out on bail, he was also missing from last night's skit.
