Ahead of the highly anticipated Friends reunion tribute, yet more information about how the show was cast has come to light. And one of its stars got a bit of a shock when they found out that they were the only one who had to audition twice.

The show is a tribute to producer James (Jimmy) Burrows and Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) revealed that she had to come do a special audition for him.

“I had to come in and audition for Jimmy.” She looked a bit perplexed when the rest of the cast revealed they hadn’t gone through the same process and thanked Jimmy for casting her anyway.

The cast also revealed that their off-screen friendship sparked during a poker game in Burrows’ dressing room.

"He gave us his dressing room, because it was big and it should have been, that's fine," said Lisa Kudrow.

"I think it was unspoken but we instinctively felt like we need to be friends, we need get along, we need to connect. So we started playing poker and Jimmy gave us his room so we could have a bigger hangout room for us."

Jennifer Aniston added that their poker-playing even inspired the episode, "The One With All the Poker."
