Kate & Wills: the first year

This Sunday (29 April) marks a year since Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot at Westminster Abbey, with the eyes of two billion people around the globe on them. A quiet married life was never an option and the newlyweds have spent much of their first year as husband and wife in front of the cameras.

Luckily, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge managed to have a little fun together during their high profile engagements, official trips abroad and royal family functions - remember the couple proudly showing off their cowboy hats on their trip to Canada last July? Or baking together at a charity event in London at Christmas time? Celebrate their first wedding anniversary with a flick through our royal album of the couple's first year.
