Artist Alison Jackson has taken her spoof photography to a whole new level with an intimate look inside what the lives of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge might look like, as new parents to baby Prince George.

The series of shots - which could have come straight from a Hello! magazine spread - show the royal couple getting to grips with parenthood, with help from the newborn heir's great-grandmother, Her Majesty the Queen.

Sadly they're not real, but we can't help but enjoy the image of contented domesticity these imaginary photos conjure up; so far from the family's usual role in the limelight.

In one photo, William is seen fitting a miniature crown onto Prince George's head, while another sees him come to terms with breastfeeding using a special dad device.

He continues his hands-on approach with a spot of nappy-changing (something Prince William proudly declared he had already done in real life, just hours after the baby's birth in July) and in lining up bottles for the night time feed.

Meanwhile, Kate tackles the baby's first solid feed with the help of the Queen, and is pictured alongside her husband and baby in a series of cosy bath time snaps.

The photos are all posed by lookalikes hired by Jackson, famed for her detailed and remarkable realistic productions, which give behind-the-scenes "insight" into the world of celebrities and royals. Take a look, below.
