It was champagne all round for the cast of The Help at the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards last night (29 January), as the movie picked up three major gongs at the star-studded ceremony.
The film - an adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's best-selling novel set in 1960s Mississippi - picked up best actress for Viola Davis in the lead and best supporting actress for Octavia Spencer.
The icing on the cake then came as the entire cast of the movie were awarded the coveted Outstanding Performance By A Cast In A Motion Picture prize at the ceremony in Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.
Over in the TV honours, Modern Family continued its incredible reign of success during this year's awards season, scooping the Outstanding Performance By An Ensemble In A Comedy Series gong.
It was a good night for British talent as well, as Kate Winslet walked away with the Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Television Movie Or Miniseries award for her performance in TV mini-series Mildred Pierce.
