Larissa Joy, entrepreneur and partner at creative agency The Assembly, chairman of The House of Illustration and trustee of youth charity V, joined us recently for a Lunchtime Masterclass.

Larissa was one of Management Today's Top 35 under 35 for two years and is one of the World Economic Forum's Global Leaders of Tomorrow.
Her previous roles include vice chairman of Ogilvy UK; European COO of PR firm Weber Shandwick; and partner and global COO of private equity firm Actis. Recently, she made a decision to develop a portfolio of career interests as a way to balance a rewarding career, her three young children, her passion for musical performance and trying to stay fit.
She spends her time at The Assembly looking for opportunities to grow the business she helped set up through acquiring like-minded creative businesses, alongside advising some of the agency's largest global clients. At The House of Illustration she is helping to lead the opening of the world's first public gallery in central London dedicated to exhibiting the work of the world's most famous illustrators.
Larissa was raised in Australia, Germany and the UK, studied law at Cambridge University, and did an MBA at London Business School. She ran her first (but she hopes not her last!) marathon this year in aid of Cystic Fibrosis, plays the clarinet with London Lawyer's Music Orchestra, and loves to travel and to spend time with her husband and three children and three step children.
