This week's lunchtime masterclass is with TV presenter and radio DJ Zoe Ball.
Zoe began her television career as a runner at Granada Television and researcher on BSkyB. In the 1990s, she presented the massively popular Live & Kicking BBC Saturday morning children's show, as well as The Big Breakfast, Top of the Pops and The Priory on Channel 4 with Jamie Theakston.
In the late 90s, Zoe made headlines by becoming the first woman to front The Radio 1 Breakfast Show alone and left in 2000, succeeded by her close friend Sara Cox.
She's since been involved in a number of presenting and DJ projects, including co-hosting the wildlife series Extinct with Trevor MacDonald On ITV1, presenting ITV1's nationwide search for a 'Sandy' and 'Danny' in Grease Is The Word and appearing as a hit contestant on the third series of BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing.
From 2009 - 2012, she presented the Saturday Breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 and still fills in for her colleague Ken Bruce on occasion. Zoe lives in Brighton with her husband, DJ Norman Cook, and their two children Woody and Nelly.
