Live web chat: Zoe Ball

This week's lunchtime masterclass is with TV presenter and radio DJ Zoe Ball.

Zoe began her television career as a runner at Granada Television and researcher on BSkyB. In the 1990s, she presented the massively popular Live & Kicking BBC Saturday morning children's show, as well as The Big Breakfast, Top of the Pops and The Priory on Channel 4 with Jamie Theakston.

In the late 90s, Zoe made headlines by becoming the first woman to front The Radio 1 Breakfast Show alone and left in 2000, succeeded by her close friend Sara Cox.

She's since been involved in a number of presenting and DJ projects, including co-hosting the wildlife series Extinct with Trevor MacDonald On ITV1, presenting ITV1's nationwide search for a 'Sandy' and 'Danny' in Grease Is The Word and appearing as a hit contestant on the third series of BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing.

From 2009 - 2012, she presented the Saturday Breakfast show on BBC Radio 2 and still fills in for her colleague Ken Bruce on occasion. Zoe lives in Brighton with her husband, DJ Norman Cook, and their two children Woody and Nelly.

Do you want to break into broadcasting? Or are you interested in the people Zoe's worked with over the years, or her career highlights as a radio/TV presenter? Whatever your question, join our live web chat with Zoe this Friday at 1pm in the comments section below.
