Stylist recently welcomed Heather Jackson, a pioneer helping women into the boardroom, to our Lunchtime Masterclass. The founder of the Women's Business Forum joined us live online to offer her advice on networking, guidance on progressing your career to the next level and enjoying success in senior positions.
After seeing countless skilled, capable women who had the potential to fill high level positions but lacked the networking skills or confidence to do so, Heather took matters into her own hands, launching the Women’s Business Forum in April 2010. The first UK conference dedicated to helping professional women maximise their careers, it also aims to ensure that organisations understand the benefits of bringing skilled women into the workplace.
Heather has also created two networking clubs for women – the Two Percent Club (aimed at women in senior positions) and The Pearls (for women who are in the early stages of their career and want to progress to board level). Alongside all this, Heather works as Managing Director of Believe Corporate Relations, and has a busy family and home life.
