Before co-founding Schneider Bartosch Communications with ex-BBC press guru Fiona Bartosch, she held senior posts for Weber Shandwick, Band & Brown and Fleishman Hillard.
Lief started out in journalism before moving into PR. She has a graduate law degree, is an unrepentant smoker and is a regular media commentator on reputation management issues.
