Join us at the next Stylist Network event on 17 June to learn how from four successful foodies.

Whether it’s the ongoing success of bespoke cupcake bakeries like Lola’s and the Primrose Hill Bakery, or the continued rise of female-owned franchise Wahaca – Thomasina Miers’ stylish Mexican chain which has opened four restaurants in as many years – women are leading the way in one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic industries. 2011 saw five female chefs gain or keep their prestigious Michelin stars and this year was also the first time that the 50 Best Restaurant Awards introduced a Best Female Chef category, making 2011 the year to capitalise on your foodie talent.

Want to join them? If you’ve ever harboured a dream of ditching the rat race to start your own restaurant, deli or bakery, you need a ticket to the next Stylist Network event on 17 June. Entitled Become A Food Entrepreneur, it’s a night of food, business and insider tips from the women making a stir in the food industry.

Held in the glamorous Secret Garden Marquee at the Taste of London event in Regent’s Park – the most exclusive alfresco VIP area at the renowned restaurant festival – Stylist Network’s Become A Food Entrepreneur is a must for anyone who’s ever wanted to work with food.

An evening of two halves, kicking off proceedings will be a panel discussion with four female foodies: celebrated chef Anna Hansen of The Modern Pantry; restaurateur and business guru Sarah Willingham (who re-launched the Bombay Bicycle Club and is Raymond Blanc’s right-hand woman on cult TV programme, The Restaurant); award-winning Camilla Stephens, creator of million-pound artisan pie company Higgidy; and gastropub entrepreneur Sarah Wall, who has built a multimillion pound empire that includes four pubs and the award-winning restaurant, Four O Nine.

For the second half of the event, our panellists will be joined by three expert networkers: food trends expert Sara Edwards from The Food People, PR guru and founder of restaurant PR company Sauce Communications, Jo Barnes and finance expert Cheryl Payne from HSBC who you can get advice from over some food and fizz. After the event, your ticket enables you to enjoy the Taste of London Festival until it closes at 9.30pm.

Attendees will also receive a voucher entitling them to two-for-one tickets to Taste of London for either Saturday 18 or Sunday 19 June. So, whether you want to launch the next Lola’s cupcakes or dream of following in Angela Hartnett’s shoes, don’t miss the chance to get the inside track on how to make it in the food business.
