These are the 10 happiest UK cities to work in

A study of over 2,500 employees has revealed the 10 happiest UK cities to work in and – sadly – London didn’t make the cut.

The research, conducted by business psychologists, OPP, found that employee satisfaction is on the up, with 71% of people saying they were satisfied in their roles - but that there are key regional differences.

Norwich and Liverpool saw some of the most satisfied employees, with Norwich returning a 77% satisfaction rate and Liverpool, 76%, whereas Newcastle and Cardiff saw only 64% contentment amongst workers.

According to the results, three major factors affected how satisfied people were in their jobs:

Workload, salary increases and changes in management.

So, are you one of the UK’s most satisfied employees? If not, perhaps it’s time to move to one of these 10 cities…
