Britain's silliest place names feature in hilarious new map

What isn't great about a map that features every rude and silly place name in Britain? Nothing, that's what.

This week a map entitled The Marvellous Map of Great British Place names was launched by Strumpshaw, Tincleton & Giggleswick which offers up the funniest and cheekiest 1400 names you can find in Britain.

Apparently the research took absolutely months and several thousand miles were travelled just to bring us this quintessentially British gift.

Names included in the map include 136 bottoms, some balls, buttocks and beavers as well as a few knobs, crack, clench and a Roger Moor, which is located in Lancashire.

While we'd love to say this would be the perfect gift for someone who's a little bit immature, we'd be kidding ourselves if we didn't think that every member of our family would find this amusing.

Take a look at the map up close by clicking on the gallery below.

The Marvellous Map of Great British Place Names can be purchased online at stghq.com starting from £22.00
