National Geographic Traveller reveals competition finalists including stunning Southbank shot

PhilipBraude_Urban.jpg

Brace yourself for serious wanderlust, because the National Geographic Traveller (UK) has unveiled the finalists of its 2015 photography competition.

From passengers holding onto a train winding through the Sri Lankan countryside at full speed, to explorers wandering through the depths of a misty cave in Vietnam, the shortlist of photographs capture varying and breathtaking places from all around the world.

In fact, even London has made the cut, with a powerful image of trees along the Southbank framing a view of St Paul's cathedral in the distance.

There are six finalists in total, one for each of the categories - Action, Animal, People, River, Rural, and Urban - and the overall grand-prize winner will be announced on Saturday 14 February, live at the Telegraph Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show.

The good news is, for the first time ever we can now buy prints of the shortlisted entries for £49.97 (without a frame)& through theprintspace.

You'll want to save up for these. Take a look at the breathtaking winning photographs below.
