Take a tour around the world's most luxurious yachts

If we could swap our desks for one thing right now, it would be for the sun-drenched deck of a luxury charter yacht.

Just imagine the delight of whiling away the day off the shores of Cannes or Ibiza, with panoramic sea views and nothing more taxing than when to crack open that bottle of champers on your mind. And of course, you wouldn't actually have to open the bottle, since you'd have a dedicated team of on-board staff to do exactly that.

If you got bored, you could try out the giant water slide or familiarise yourself with the terrace jacuzzi. Need pampering? Why not pop by the spa, or book an appointment with boat's VIP hairdressing team?

This is a very real world for an exclusive set of people, who spend their days hopping from one party destination to the next via yacht.

And while we're some way off achieving the fantasy, we can at least have a taste of it by taking a look inside the eye-watering collection of lavish cruisers managed by charter company Edmiston.

From the yacht with a giant outdoor cinema and swim-up bar to the sailboat that once hosted Elizabeth Taylor, these incredible rafts are a byword for glamour and excess. All aboard for a nose around lottery-land...
