From Sessùn to Sézane: new French labels touch down in the UK

Joining Maje, Sandro and Claudie Pierlot on our shores are a trio of French brands that will give your wardrobe an extra injection of chic

First launched almost 20 years ago by Emma François, the Marseille-based brand now has eight stores across France plus others in Berlin and Brussels, and has recently landed in the UK. It’s perfect for your off-duty wardrobe and luxury basics like denim and classic coats.

After their first UK store opened on London’s coveted South Molton Street in June, the label that originally started as a childrenswear brand is now popular for statement jackets and trend led attainable pieces.

France’s answer to Finery, the online-only brand has two main collections a year, topped up with monthly limited-edition pieces. It’s your go-to for modern French essentials – saddle bags, boyfriend shirts and perfect heels.
