The royal wedding built in Lego

royal-wedding-lego.jpg

This is the kind of wedding gift we want: a Lego replica of our nuptials. Edinburgh-based designer Warren Elsmore made a Lego sculpture of the royal wedding, along with several iconic buildings from around the world, and the collection is on display at Paisley Museum.

Brick City features 72 models, including the London 2012 Olympic Park, the Las Vegas strip and London’s St Pancras station. If you think this kind of craftsmanship is beyond you, take inspiration from Elsmore: he gave up his IT job just one year ago to concentrate on his Lego work. Time to invest in some Lego.

Brick City; until 16 February 2014; Paisley Museum, High Street, PA1 2BA
