Just in time for the Spice Girls tour to kick off, Geri Halliwell has returned to her roots. Welcome back, Ginger Spice.

It’s fair to say the nation is hyped for the upcoming reunion of Spice Girls, AKA the best girl band to ever exist. Probably.

Not only did tickets to the tour prove so popular that extra dates had to be added, but as of this morning (22 May) you can spend the night in the original Spice Girls bus that featured in the iconic Spiceworld: The Movie, which - let’s be honest - is the film that basically defined 1997 (and our childhood).

And now, just to keep the momentum going, Geri Halliwell has only gone and transformed herself back into the Ginger Spice we all know and love, thanks to a little bit of help from L’Oreal Paris

Taking to Instagram to debut her not-so-new ‘do, it appears Geri has dyed her hair back into the nostalgic, bright red shade that she was famous for.

Captioning the picture with just three words - ‘Ginger is back!’ - there really was no other explanation needed.

The good news is that the dye she’s used on her hair is an at-home colour, so if you want to channel your inner Spice Girl, you can do just that with L’Oreal Infinia Preference Hair Color in 74 Mango, £7.99.

Now all we need is for that Union Jack dress to make an appearance and we’ll be happy
