Lipsticks are one of the most versatile products in our beauty cabinets, with a quick slick of colour having the almost-magical ability to brighten our mood.

A swipe of bold red can boost our confidence, while a dash of nude can make our whole look feel more put-together. And, of course, anything with a shimmer works to instantly put us in Saturday night mode.

And to celebrate our love of all things lipstick, we grilled the beauty team at Superdrug to find out their best-selling brands and shades, with the top 10 lipsticks listed below.

Speaking about the forerunners, Sarah Gardner, Superdrug’s Head of Beauty said, “Our customers love lip shades which cater for all occasions.

Customers look for versatile and everyday shades that can be worn both day and night and this really shows in the bestsellers. Nude shades are on trend and today's formulations offer beautiful rich matte nude shades which are also moisturising.”

So if you’re looking for a new favourite shade, or simply want to browse the bestsellers, read on...
