You can always rely on MAC to offer up the most exciting in make-up collaborations. From Rihanna to Mariah Carey, Maleficent to The Simpsons, Proenza Schouler to the more recent collection with Hollywood-favourite Zac Posen - they have certainly worked with the best from all arenas of popular culture.

So, it was only a matter of time before they joined forces with one of the world's biggest names right now: Caitlyn Jenner.

Posting on Instagram last night, Jenner revealed she would be launching a lipstick with the cosmetics giant later this year.

The name? Finally Free - a title that has a very personal meaning for Jenner.

"This is who I am: Finally Free," she says. "No more secrets. I’m free. I woke up the other morning, and I was just happy. Getting dressed, going out, I’m accepted in the world; people are nice.  Life is good. I’m Finally Free.

"My ultimate fantasy — I never thought in a million years that it would ever happen — was to get involved with a makeup company," she adds. "When you’re going through all of this, that’s just like never going to happen, but wouldn’t it be something to be involved in a project like that? Boy, watch out what you wish for, because it came true."

One hundred percent of the sale price of Jenner's signature lipstick will go to MAC's AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative

MAC says funds from the lipstick, on sale from April 7, would "expand its support of much needed grants to organizations and programs dedicated to improving transgender lives".
