Iconic make-up artist Pat Mcgrath showcased her latest launch on the Paco Rabanne runway.

Fashion month is a beauty editor’s dream. Not only do a host of innovative and covetable looks sashay down the runway, but a ton of yet-to-be-released products get their first outing backstage.

Sadly, some of these products will never actually make it to the counters in your local department store. But at the Paco Rabanne show in Paris, legendary make-up artist Pat McGrath used a new liner that you’ll soon be able to snap up for yourself.

Pat McGrath created the beauty looks at Rabanne using the Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner by her namesake brand, Pat McGrath Labs. Some models wore flicks, others had liner traced along both the bottom and top lash line, while others rocked the jet black hue on the inside of the eye.

To ensure that the eyes did all the talking, McGrath says that skin was left “clean and raw – only a touch of concealer, foundation and powder were used.”

The Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner is set to launch on 7 March, and in the words of its iconic creator, “it’s major”. Speaking exclusively to Stylist backstage at the show, McGrath revealed that the product took “years to develop and literally does not budge. It’s a game changer.”

The liner adheres to the skin in five seconds flat, comes in the blackest of black pigment and looks like velvet against the skin. Unlike McGrath’s limited edition marker-like liner, this version is akin to a skinny felt-tip: it has a soft flexible applicator but still offers the ability to control your line, be it fine or full.

It’s also waterproof, smudge-proof, tear-proof and humidity-proof, meaning that it lasts for up to 24 hours.

McGrath Labs has dropped six limited edition products since its launch in October 2015, and each one has swiftly sold out – thanks in no small part to McGrath’s status as one of the world’s most beloved make-up artists. Last year, she gave us a permanent collection of colour cosmetics, ranging from glitters and shadows to lipsticks and liners.

She outdoes herself with each new launch, and this one is no exception. We predict this liner will sell out fast, so make sure to head over to on 7 March.
