In our new series, stylist.co.uk takes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look inside the bathrooms of some of the UK's biggest and best beauty bloggers. This week, we're talking all things interiors with 27-year-old Fleur De Force, who not only vlogs to an audience of over 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube but has also written a book, The Glam Guide, and launched her own makeup line.

When you were decorating your bathroom, what colour did you go for?

The colour scheme is polished white marble with very pale grey accents.

We redid it last year as soon as we moved into the house – it was a hideous eighties bathroom in burnt orange with gold taps. It took three weeks to redo the whole thing.

What is your one must-have item that make your bathroom a beauty haven?

I love having baths so our free standing bath was a big priority for me. It’s three quarter size as we didn’t have a lot of space to play with.

What are your all-time favourite products to help you unwind at the end of a long day?

I love Aerin Amber Musk body cream (£40, johnlewis.com) and Aromatherapy Associates bath oil (£45, spacenk.com), which I pour into really hot baths (I love the heat!)

I also like Lush Ro's Argon body conditioner (£16.50, lush.com) which I put on in the shower like a hair conditioner, which is perfect for you if you don’t like the faff of putting on body lotion.

Where do you seek interiors inspiration from?

From Pinterest! I mainly wanted the bathroom to be very clean looking. It was really dated when we moved in, and very yellow and red, so that pushed me toward the white and grey tones.

What's your ethos when it comes to sourcing essentials like furniture and paint?

I tend to shop around. I’m redoing another bathroom at the moment and I got everything for that from different websites. I’m currently completely obsessed with matt black hardware.

What are your top tips for organising beauty products?

I keep everything in cupboards under my sink. I also have a bath rack full of stuff that I’m trying out to keep the products at the forefront of my mind – otherwise you find stuff three months later and it’s too late.

Do you do your makeup in your bathroom?

No, I have a dressing table in my bedroom where I get ready. I don’t keep like to keep makeup in the bathroom as the steam can be really bad for it.
