The brush is small and plastic, so if you prefer big, bushy mascara wands, look away now. Glossier say the bristles are tiered which helps make sure application is always even, as well as making it easier to apply right from the root through to the tip of the lash.

Initially, I was slightly underwhelmed when Lash Slick landed at Stylist HQ. The packaging is cute in classic Glossier style, and I do prefer plastic wands, but I wasn’t excited. Now is probably a good time to mention I’m cynical, though. I’m probably a bit too cynical, if I’m entirely honest. I see hundreds of new product launches every month so it takes a lot to catch my eye.

I should also mention that I’ve never been immediately sold on new Glossier products (Wowder and Boy Brow are part of my every day kit now though, so make of that what you will). But since I’m wholly dedicated to my craft, I took Lash Slick home and gave it a good run for its money.
