Now is the perfect time to get a fringe

There’s no denying that fringes have been gunning for a comeback, and there’s no better time to embrace bangs. “I think face-framing or statement fringes are great for spring,” says Andreas Wild, hairstylist at Larry King Notting Hill.

“They’re heavier, kinkier and can flip out to the side. Lots of women grow out their fringe for summer because they don’t want to get too hot or sweaty on their forehead in the heat,” he adds.

If he had to pick one particular fringe for this season? “I love a chunky face-framing fringe with slightly uneven length around the chin, disconnected through the rest of the hair to make it more of a statement. It looks great when you put your hair up, which you will inevitably do more often in spring as it gets warmer,” says Wild.
