The Rose Gold Palette is back, and it’s better than ever. This is why you should invest…

When Huda Beauty discontinued their Rose Gold Palette last August, eyeshadow enthusiasts were devastated. While the brand quickly launched their Desert Dusk Palette, loyal fans still mourned their original favourite. Just as we had come to terms with the Rose Gold Palette being shelved, Huda Kattan, the brand’s founder, took to Instagram to share the news that the much-love product would be returning - complete with 18 reformulated shades.

Now, the new Rose Gold Palette Remastered has landed, and we have all the info…

They’ve upped their formula game

While the colours themselves are pretty similar to the first palette, the formulas have been adapted in line with customer feedback. The result? 18 shades unlike anything currently on the market with some of the best colour pay-off we’ve ever seen. The butter soft metallic shades glide on super smoothly and blend equally well whether you use a brush or fingers, while the selection of matte and pearl hues can be used both wet and dry, and always leave a crease-free finish.

It’s even more multi-tasking

Alongside the countless eyeshadow combinations, you can also get creative and use the shadows as eyeliner or highlighter too. Black Truffle can be used wet for a sharp wing liner and Moondust can be used as a highlighter for the lids, inner corner of the eyes, or on cheekbones.

The packaging has had a makeover

Housed in a sturdier black case with the addition of a sizeable mirror, the new packaging is more practical yet still Instagrammable.

Stylist’s junior beauty writer Ava Welsing-Kitcher tries shades Henna, Coco and Trust Fund from the palette.

It really is suitable for all skin tones

As can be seen via the extensive swatches on Instagram, the palette works well on all skin tones. To demonstrate its versatility, Huda also shared videos of three of her favourite makeup accounts - all with different skin tones - trying out the palette.
