Let's be honest, eyeliner, for many, is a bit of a faff. While we're all probably able to smudge of khol around our eyes, mastering the art of drawing a clean line using liquid eyeliner is another skillset entirely. It takes a steady hand, lots of practice and a lot of patience.
But once you get there, then there's another challenge - what line actually suits you the most? Should it be a thick line or a thin one? One that curves upwards or down? And just how long should you make your flick?
All these important eyeliner conundrums have been answered in a new infographic created by the clever people over at MakeUp.com.
The illustration recommends the ideal eyeliner styles for those with almond, hooded, downturned, upturned, round, and small eyes. For example, those who boast almond eyes should opt for a very thin line from the inner corners and then a thicker line as you go out.
But if you have hooded eyelids, using a thin liner means it's harder to see, so you should go for a thicker more bolder wing to give your eye definition.
