Is this the most nostalgic make-up line of all time?

One of our favourite colouring-in brands just launched a make-up line. And it makes complete sense.

From Disney’s ’Cinderella’ collaboration with MAC, to the recent Polly Pocket revival c/o Lime Crime, we clearly can’t get enough childhood memories from our make-up lines. So what better way to paint our faces than with a kids colouring range we all know and grew up with?

Following a previous collaboration with Clinique Chubby Sticks, Crayola are set to launch a whopping 58-piece stand-alone collection this month called ‘Crayola Beauty’ exclusively at ASOS. And as you would expect, the shades and packaging are just begging to be Instagrammed, taking us on a trip down memory lane and back round again.

Not least the Face Crayons (£10) which closely resemble the versions we used to colour in with in reception class (you should probably keep these out of sight from little ones, unless they mistake them for the real deal). Coming in 24 rainbow hues, they can be used practically anywhere on the body, and they’re apparently the only product on the market that can be used on the lips, cheeks and eyes.

Other highlights from the collection include three mascaras in black, royal and sky blue (£12) and five palettes to play with (from £20) while all the formulas are vegan-friendly. There’s even a make-up brush set which looks almost too pretty to use (it’s a future collector’s item in the making if you ask us…)

With 95 shades across the entire collection to play with, this new range should keep you busy for a long time. Or at least provide a talking point whenever we pull a Face Crayon from your clutch bag…
