Make-up artist creates spectacular lip art inspired by Halloween, films and food

Published

A talented Spanish make-up artist is taking lipstick to whole new level by creating a series of Halloween, film and food-inspired lip art.

Eva Senín Pernas, who is from La Coruña, a little city in Galicia, Spain, began creating her detailed work in 2011 with the dream of becoming a professional make-up artist.

Her lip art features Disney films such as The Lion King and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. This week she's been painting a series of Halloween-inspired lips, such as a witch flying on a broomstick, a carved pumpkin face and a cookie monster design embellished with three-dimensional cookies.

Pernas has a background in architecture having studied it at university and a love of photography, where she experimented with her grandfather's old camera until she could buy her own.

The artist has a flair for detailed work and a remarkably steady hand. Take a look at her spectacular illustrations in the gallery above and view more of her work on her Facebook page.
