Meet SpyGal - the first ever beauty-inspired comic book hero.
Comic book masters Marvel has teamed its creative talents with 50s pin-up fans Benefit Cosmetics to create the pore-tackling superhero.
Sporting an aqua blue trench and packing an arsenal of weapons masquerading as make-up in her handbag, SpyGal is described as a “wise-cracking, pore-zapping persona … modelled after the POREfessional pore minimizing primer”.
She features in a debut 16-page comic strip from the writers and designers at Marvel, home to the likes of Spider-Man, Avengers and The Fantastic Four.
SpyGal's adventures were written and drawn by James Asmus and Phil Noto, the Marvel men behind Captain America and X-Men, so there a plenty of "pops", "rrrips", "smaks" and "poofs".
