The brand that brought us legendary products including Better Than Sex Mascara, Hangover Fix Primer and Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette has a new bricks-and-mortar home in London.
Now open on London’s bustling Carnaby Street, the shop is Too Faced’s first-ever standalone store in the world - which is pretty exciting stuff. After all, we’ve long been playing catch-up when it comes to our friends over the pond, as they tend to get the best films, make-up and peanut-butter based confectionery first. But with Too Faced choosing Blighty as their new home, we’ve finally got one over our US cousins.
The store interior is exactly how we’d imagined – namely with lots of influence from the brand’s best-selling buys. They’re keeping the classic pink and gold colour scheme that dominates their packaging, and there are some suitably patriotic touches too, including a Union Jack-emblazoned wall. It also has nods to their best-selling Sweet Peach and Chocolate Bar range with candy-coloured hues decking out the 585 sq ft space.
Speaking to Stylist about the launch, co-founder and chief creative officer, Jerrod Blandino, says, “Opening a Too Faced store is a dream come true - and just in time for our 20th birthday next year.”
“I couldn’t think of a better location than London for our first global flagship, as it’s my favourite city. And it really doesn’t get any better than Carnaby Street – fun, fashionable and festive, just like Too Faced.”
As well as all their most popular products, the store also stocks exclusive and preview products, such as the new Peaches & Cream range, which features a delectable selection of satin lipsticks, glow-giving foundations and cream-to-powder blushers.
Plus, there will also be an area dedicated to Blandino’s beauty favourites (think Rodin Luxury Face Oil and Le Labo candles).
