Nothing pleases us more than to hear news of a great incoming book-to-film adaptation – especially when it involves Julia Roberts.

Roberts – who has a successful career spanning over 20 years – has previously voiced her decision to step away from rom-coms (so Pretty Woman 2 is definitely off the table). Maybe that’s why she’s signed onto bestselling author Celeste Ng’s latest feature film, Everything I Never Told You.

Details remain scarce, but Ng took to Twitter on Monday 21 January to reveal the news with her followers: “Good news: It’s [Everything I Never Told You] being adapted into a feature film — with Julia Roberts attached to play Marilyn!”
