She has launched an app, a clothing line and, of course, a celebrity fragrance.
And now Kim Kardashian is turning her hand to more literary pursuits, with a plan to start a book club.
The reality TV star, 36, made the announcement on Twitter last night, stating that she would be starting the club alongside hair stylist Jen Atkin and model Chrissy Teigen.
Following the announcement, which has been liked more than 12,000 times, Kardashian tweeted that she had already chosen the first book for the club to read, opting for Embraced by the Light by Betty Eadie.
The book, which appeared on The New York Times bestseller list shortly after it was published in 1992, is based on Eadie’s near-death experience following complications during a hysterectomy she had in 1972 when she was 31 years old.
And it looks like all of Kardashian’s 49.9 million Twitter followers are welcome to join the club, which starts on Monday, with the star tweeting that “everyone’s invited”.
Kardashian isn’t the only celebrity to launch her own book club. Last year, Emma Watson announced she was launching a feminist book club, before joining forces with Books on the Underground to hide feminist reads on the tube.
