Published by Gallery Books in the US and Headline in the UK, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous has been described by the publisher as a “heartbreaking and dark collection” where Fox “showcases her wicked humour”.

It’s a collection that will chronicle all the ways in which we compromise for the sake of our loved ones, even if it means “losing ourselves in the process”.

Sharing the announcement in a joint post on Instagram, Fox said: “These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence. I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins.”
