PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. STAY TUNED WITH OUR LIVE TWEETS ON THE NIGHT.

In one of the biggest coups of 2016, we’ve set up an intimate evening with The Girl On The Train author Paula Hawkins on 5 May – and you could be there.

Back in 2014, a buzz started on the books grapevine. A new British thriller featuring an alcoholic heroine, domestic violence and a twisted, addictive plot was causing waves. When The Girl On The Train finally hit shelves in January 2015, it went straight to number one on the hardback chart, and stayed there for 20 weeks –  breaking all records and selling two million copies worldwide in three months.

The fervour has barely even got started. The paperback version is set for release this May and in October, Hollywood’s hotly anticipated adaptation arrives starring Emily Blunt and Luke Evans. In short, this is the year of Paula Hawkins and on 5 May Stylist is hosting the only public event with her ahead of the film’s release.

On the night, Hawkins will read an excerpt from The Girl On The Train and discuss her inspiration, plotting, unreliable narrator and its translation to the big screen. And whether you’re a thriller obsessive or a budding writer, you’ll get the chance to put your questions to Hawkins in an audience Q&A, along with the opportunity to get a signed copy. So if you were utterly hooked – or have yet to discover just how addictive The Girl On The Train is – book your ticket now.
