Fashion gifts for everyone, whatever their look
Buying fashion-based presents can be daunting. So we’ve found gifts to suit everyone in your life – whether they’re into athleisure, high glamour or something in between
Lovers of grown-up glamour

For most of us, the festive season is a time to dust off our most put-together looks. But how do you shop for someone who treats luxurious elegance as the norm? Azurina’s classic leather pistachio grab bag (£55) is perfect for holding Luxtra’s sustainably-made silver cardholder (£35) and a phone in Liberty x Tech 21’s case (£49.99).

Know their taste in clothes? This Rixo blouse (£155) is a 60s-fabulous winner. To finish it all off, go for Monica Vinader’s delicate 18ct rose gold vermeil bracelet (£175). Subtle, everyday glamour at its finest. See our full grown-up glamour edit here

Design-obsessed minimalists

Got that one friend/parent/colleague who looks super-sharp even when taking the bins out? Buying for them can be just a little intimidating. Go for design-led classics, like Oliver Co.’s sustainable wallet (£59) – made from vegan wood and apple leather – and an Original Breton Co. striped top (from £37.50).

We also love Seol + Gold’s huggie hoops (£59.90) – and this AARK Collective watch (£90) is heaven for the tiniest pop of colour. Wrap it all up in the Barbican’s ‘Brutal’ tote (£6) for a minimalist’s twist on the Christmas stocking. See our full design-obsessed minimalist edit here

British eclectics

It’s extremely fun to sartorially lucky dip for this peacock of dressers. You’ll want to capture the colour and quirk that somehow all works (think Alexa Chung meets Luke Edward Hall) – both LF Markey’s berets (£38) and Hattie Buzzard’s Lou earrings (£40) are a safe bet.

For something bolder, we love Chinti & Parker’s riotous cashmere gloves (£55) and Toast’s mohair check scarf (£125) in a delicious English mustard shade. Finally, Bell & Fox’s merlot leather round crossbody bag (£75) is perfect to pair with all those colours. See our full British eclectic edit here

Athleisure enthusiasts

It might look laidback, but athleisure is a notoriously exacting style, so your gifts need to have impeccable style creds as well as being comfy. This hoodie by ethical label Ninety Percent (£112.50) and Ganni’s leopard print silky scrunchie (£20) have both.

Got their shoe size? Independent east London label Stepney Workers Club make lovely unisex kicks (£65) – perfect to wear with these organic cotton retro sports socks (£9) from Swedish denim label Nudie Jeans. Top things off with eco-friendly label Lefrik’s recycled bum-bag (£24.90): you know they’ll love it. See our full athleisure edit here

Stylist Loves editor Kat is buying herself one good thing for Christmas: a really comfy bra

If you’re anything like me, you’ll have made any big winter purchases in October in anticipation for the relentless present buying that eats your bank account alive come November. But there’s one thing I will treat myself to: really nice underwear. Currently on my wish list is a bra from Baserange – a sustainable brand making the most comfortable-looking basics.

I’m currently torn between the scoop-cup stretch cotton blend bras and the soft-cup bras for a bit more structure (both are £95 for a set of two). I’m dreaming of slipping one on under a thick woollen jumper – it’s the season of comfort and joy, after all.
