Stylist’s fitness editor Meriam has found a strength-training hack for full-on weeks

I love a good gym-based workout, but sometimes it’s just not possible to fit a class into my already-packed schedule (or, you know, I decide to go for dinner with friends instead). So I love these little 3lb weights, which I use to sneak in strength training on busy weeks.

Strap them to your ankles before walking to the office in the morning (or while dashing to your chosen restaurant come 7pm), and you’ll do a leg workout without even thinking about it. They can also be worn to add resistance when Officially Exercising – they’re great for leg lifts – and they’re light enough to travel with. All-round wonders. £14, P.Volve
