Zara’s first lingerie collection is here (plus more underwear we’re into right now)

If there’s one thing that got left behind in the last decade, it’s the push-’em-up, hello-boys lingerie aesthetic that was so popular in the early 2000s. And we’re not exactly sad about it. Because now we want underwear that’s comfortable, relaxed and beautiful – which sums up the mood of Zara’s first lingerie collection, which launched this week. Titled “The Female Gaze”, the 91-piece range is packed with chic, comfy pieces in nude and earth tones that you’ll genuinely want to wear, from silk bralettes (£25.99) to boxers (£12.99) and wool and cashmere socks (£19.99).

Of course, Zara isn’t the first brand to pitch its lingerie at women’s desires rather than straight male fantasies. We’re big fans of inclusive brand The Underargument, founded by Maïna Cissé, which casts its models without seeing their photos and does an excellent line in product names: the ‘Got These & A Brain’ longline triangle bra (£65) is a particular highlight. Then there’s Stylist Loves favourite Womanhood, a tightly curated online retailer that only stocks lingerie by female-founded brands (think Rossell England, Dora Larsen and The Nude Label). Life can feel hard at the moment, so we may as well wear nice knickers.

Why everyone will be talking about Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant’s new TV show next week

Straight from the mind of acclaimed Big Little Lies creator David E Kelley, The Undoing is a twisted and tension-filled take on Jean Hanff Korelitz’s 2014 novel You Should Have Known. Based in New York, the six-part series follows the story of Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman), her husband Jonathan (Hugh Grant) and their young son, Henry. Grace’s life is one dominated by privilege: she’s a successful therapist, her son attends one of the best schools and her husband is an acclaimed paediatric oncologist. But when Jonathan goes missing and a violent death rocks the school community, Grace’s life begins to unravel.

Kidman and Grant’s gripping performances are just one of the many reasons to give this series a watch. “Although a little slow to start, The Undoing will keep you guessing,” says Stylist’s junior digital writer Lauren Geall. “It’s way more than just a courtroom drama – Kelley’s exploration of themes such as privilege, trust and success make this a compelling watch for fans of all genres.” Starts Monday 26 October, 9pm, on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV
