1995’s Clueless is a teen movie classic. In fact, the iconic design of the film has gone down in pop culture history.

Look closely and you’ll spot a few references to the film’s costumes and props in Bottoms. In one scene, Isabel wears a cardigan that recalls Cher’s famous yellow argyle skirt suit, while holding a fluffy pink pen. Brittany is also wearing a similar argyle set.

“That was taken from Clueless,” Lee told Oscars.org. “I wanted to really bring in a sense of nostalgia. And because Clueless is so iconic and that yellow skirt suit is so iconic, I took that print and that colour and flipped it on its head and turned it into something that was more Brittany.
