The Muppet Christmas Carol (Extended Edition)

We’re just going to come out and say it; this is easily our favourite adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. How could it not be? Michael Caine takes on the role of a lifetime in the miserly Ebeneezer Scrooge, and he’s basically surrounded by Muppets for the entirety of his (at times incredibly emotional) performance. There’s catchy musical numbers, plenty of brilliantly quotable one-liners, and we STILL get an important lesson about the true meaning of Christmas.
