**Who stars in Black Cake?**

The eight-episode series stars Mia Isaac as young Covey, Chipo Chung as Eleanor Bennett, Adrienne Warren as Benny and Ashley Thomas as Byron.

Lashay Anderson, Faith Alabi and Glynn Turman are also set to feature, in addition to recurring guest stars Ahmed Eljah, Simon Wan and Sonita Henry.

Alongside Winfrey, Marissa Jo Cerar serves as executive producer and showrunner. Other producers on the series include Wilkerson, the author behind the original Black Cake novel.

When will Black Cake be released?

All episodes of the drama series will drop on 31 January on Disney+.
