Explaining that the show grew out of his fascination with what happens to astronauts after they come back from space, creator Peter Harness says: “I began to understand that there were these spooky stories about what astronauts go through in space. They hear dogs barking; sometimes they see weird things outside the capsules.”

“Obviously, [it’s] a sci-fi show, but [it] has spooky elements in it as well, and that leads almost naturally into a conspiracy about this factor being covered up,” he adds, as per TV Guide’s report.

Constellation will premiere globally on Wednesday 21 February with the first three episodes, followed by one episode weekly, every Wednesday until 27 March on Apple TV+.
