In a new Channel 4 documentary titled The Pill, presenter Davina McCall is investigating the myths and misconceptions about modern contraception, and asking whether it really provides women with the care they need.

Having recently shared her own menopause journey and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), McCall has turned to investigating the current revolution going on in contraception. While the pill was a game changer, now, over 60 years after it was introduced, women are increasingly turning their backs on putting synthetic hormones into their bodies.

In The Pill, which is being shown tonight at 9pm, McCall will interrogate the state of contraception in the UK and the struggle women face to access it.
