Updated 23 May: When the official trailer for the hotly anticipated Friends reunion was dropped earlier this week, UK fans were left waiting to see when and how they’d be able to get their hands on the one-off special.

Now, however, it’s finally been confirmed: and it’s safe to say we couldn’t be any more excited.

Viewers in the UK will be able to enjoy Friends: The Reunion on Sky One on 27 May at 8pm, or stream the special via NOW. That’s the same day viewers in the US will get to watch it, too, so we won’t have to worry about getting spoiled on social media.

With that news in mind, it’s time to start looking forward to everything the reunion has in store. With appearances from previous supporting stars including Maggie Wheeler (Janice), James Michael Tyler (Gunter) and Reese Witherspoon (Jill) and reflections from the original cast, there’s plenty to look forward to – and if the official trailer is anything to go by, there are a lot more exciting moments in store.
