Last Night At The Proms (episode six)

Dawn and Mick are hosting their annual Last Night Of The Proms party as the perfect antidote to post-Brexit Britain, with everyone expected to wave their Union Jacks and sing along to Land of Hope and Glory. However, there’s a mysterious stranger lurking around the neighbourhood, one among their gathering isn’t feeling particularly patriotic, and, by the time the fat lady sings, everyone’s lives will be changed for ever.

Starring Sarah Parish and Julian Glover, it will air on 14 June at 9.30pm. And it’s the finale, so go in expecting fireworks.

Speaking about the season, Shearsmith and Pemberton have said: “We started filming in March last year but had to hit pause due to the pandemic. After a nine-month gestation it’s a relief to finally deliver our sixth series to the world.

“As proud parents we couldn’t possibly choose a favourite, but like any youngest sibling this series is cheeky, funny… and can get away with murder.”
