What’s the plot of Miss Night And Day?

As you’ve likely gathered from the trailer, Miss Night And Day follows Lee Mi-jin, a job seeker in her 20s who (much like Shrek’s Princess Fiona) is unexpectedly hit by a curse that causes her to take a very different form when the sun comes up each day.

That’s right: she rapidly ages into her 50s each morning – and, seizing this new quirk as an opportunity, our hero applies for a senior intern position under the name Im Soon so she can finally land the job of her dreams.

Too bad her workaholic boss considers her his natural enemy, then – and that he falls for Lee Mi-jin’s younger self when he runs into her unexpectedly one evening.

Who stars in Miss Night And Day?

Jeong Eun-ji and Lee Jung-eun take the lead in this one as Lee Mi-jin and Im Soon respectively, while Choi Jin-hyuk stars as workaholic prosecutor Gye Ji-woong.

Speaking with Soompi, writer Park Ji Ha has revealed the inspiration behind the series.

“I thought that a job seeker would be a character that many people could relate to in this era of job scarcity,” she says. “And I wanted to write a story about a job seeker who consistently fails to get a job and ends up getting hired under false pretences.”
