Last night, I desperately wanted to grab a glass of water and nip to the loo, but for 60 minutes I was unable to move from in front of the telly to address either issue. I was so engrossed in episode seven of Paradise on Disney+ that I was unable to press pause. And I didn’t pick up my phone once!

I started watching the political thriller earlier this week. It came out at the end of January (forgive me for my tardiness), but once I started, I quickly raced through the first six episodes. However, it was episode seven – The Day – that stopped me in my tracks. It was tense, emotional, shocking and, despite a sense of dread throughout, I didn’t want it to end.
